Make a payment online with your credit card:

The Rural Municipality of Wallace No. 243 is now accepting online payments with select credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) through the secure OptionPay System (with applicable third-party fees). Note that all processing fees are charged by OptionPay and are not received by the municipality. View the OptionPay Tiered Rate table here.

In addition to the option of paying directly through your financial institution's online banking system, payments for certain RM of Wallace bills and services may now be paid by credit card online. Payments will take two to five business days to be received by the municipality, so please allow for this processing time while making your payment. Please keep in mind not to exceed your daily and/or transaction processing limit when making credit card payments. For optimal performance, please use Google Chrome or Firefox web browsers when accessing OptionPay.

The RM of Wallace currently accepts payments for the following through OptionPay:

• Property taxes
• Accounts receivable (invoices)
• Permits (Building & Primary Weight)

Is there an added fee for using OptionPay to my Rural Municiaplity of Wallace No. 243 bills with credit card?

• Yes. All transactions carried through OptionPay follow a tiered fee schedule, starting at a minimum of $2.00. To see the full schedule for using this payment option, please visit their fee schedule here.

Why is there an added fee?

• The fees are administered through the OptionPay program for the use of their service and not through the RM of Wallace No. 243.

Is my credit card/information secure with this program?

• OptionPay provides information on their security measures here. Please note that the RM of Wallace No. 243 takes no responsibility for, and accepts no liability, in the event of security breaches, technical difficulties, or other issues that may arise from your use of OptionPay.
